Please note, this vacancy is for those candidates, who have already received (or are about to) an Australian permanent visa (subclass 175 or 485). We may consider sponsorship (subclass 457) for a really outstanding candidate, who doesn't have a visa, but we don't promise anything at this stage.

We are seeking a professional engineer, who is passionate about technology and wants to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate must have:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering (MSc or PhD are welcome);
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix;
• Proven experience in design and troubleshooting of IP networks;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Broadcast, media and/or Pay-TV industry experience will be highly regarded. Good knowledge of industry standards such as DVB would be greatly appreciated.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, integration and deployment of multimedia content delivery systems;
• Assist sales team in proposal preparation and tender submission;
• Operational support of customer systems and equipment including proactive monitoring and incident resolution to ensure customers’ satisfaction;
• Visit customer sites and assist in the installation and commissioning when required;
• Undertake new product and technology evaluation and training including training “on-the-job”;
• Compile and maintain system documentation (both printed and online) when required.

The successful candidate must be available for interstate and overseas travel.
